Choosing glasses is part eye care, part fashion. The frame has to fit your face, suit your colouring, complement your features, and feel like something you wear, not something the optometrist insisted on.

Our team includes specialists who think about this for a living. Gail, our style specialist, is a qualified beauty therapist who reads face shapes for a living. Cass has twenty-seven years of dispensing experience. Alison trained under Philip Howard, the most respected practice in the region. They will not hand you a tray and leave you to it.

We carry independent designer frames sourced from across Europe, Japan, and the UK. Hand-finished acetate, featherlight titanium, vintage-inspired wire frames, contemporary minimalist designs. Frames at every budget, but every frame chosen because it deserves to be on the shelf. We do not stock anything we would not happily wear ourselves.

Frame prices vary widely by designer and material. We have frames at every budget, including NHS-funded basic ranges that incur no cost for eligible patients. Phone for current ranges or visit the shop to see what we have.

Can I bring my own frames?

Yes, in many cases. If your existing frames are in good condition and we can take accurate measurements, we will fit new lenses to them. Some older or damaged frames cannot safely be reused. We will tell you honestly which yours are.

How long do new glasses take?

Two to three weeks for most prescriptions. Complex prescriptions or specialist coatings can take longer. We will give you a definite date when you order.

Will you tell me if a frame does not suit me?

Yes. Honestly. That is the entire point of personal styling. If a frame does nothing for you, we will say so, and suggest one that does.

Do I have to buy frames the same day?

No. Take your time. Try several visits if you need. Take photos. Come back with a partner or friend. Whatever helps you decide.

Can I use my NHS voucher?

Yes. NHS optical vouchers cover basic frames in full and contribute to upgrades if you want something specific. We explain the value clearly so you know exactly what your voucher covers.

What if I do not like them when they arrive?

Tell us. Frames that genuinely do not suit you, or do not fit comfortably, are our problem to solve. We offer reasonable adjustments, exchanges within reason, and an honest conversation about the next step.
