Many designer frames are made in the same factories as independent eyewear. The difference is the logo, and the marketing budget behind it.

We pay for the frame, not the name.

At Bains Optical, we have direct relationships with specialist frame manufacturers and design houses across Europe and Asia. That lets us bring premium eyewear to Heath Hayes without the inflated designer mark-up. You are not paying for a fashion logo. You are paying for materials, comfort, fit, and craft.

Our collection is built around modern luxury, clean design, and long-lasting comfort. Hand-finished acetate. Featherlight titanium. Precision-engineered metal. Minimalist rimless. Every frame chosen because it earns its place on the shelf.

Many of our pieces are produced in genuinely limited numbers. When a design sells out, it usually does not return. That is intentional. When you wear a Bains frame, you are wearing something the person next to you almost certainly is not.

01 . Acetate

Hand-finished acetate.

Italian-cotton-based plastic, polished and shaped by hand over weeks. Warm to the skin, surprisingly light, with a richness of colour you cannot fake in cheaper plastics.

02 . Titanium

Featherlight titanium.

Sixty per cent the weight of steel, twice the strength. You forget you are wearing them by the end of the morning. Hypoallergenic, corrosion-proof, designed to last.

03 . Steel

Precision stainless.

Engineered metal frames with knife-clean lines. Architectural geometry, surgical-grade fit. For people who like their design to do its job and get out of the way.

04 . Rimless

Minimalist rimless.

Almost invisible on the face. Just lens, bridge, and temple bar. Engineered to disappear, so the only thing anyone sees is you. A favourite of those who do not want their glasses to announce themselves.
